About

Hello there! I am a User Experience Researcher and Strategist with a diverse background in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, and Business. I am deeply passionate about helping product teams make data-informed decisions with insights from both qualitative and quantitative research.

When I'm not busy exploring the latest research techniques or attending UX conferences, you can probably find me discovering new music genres or diving into topics such as History, Behavioural Economics, and Future research - basically, anything related to the human adventure on Earth!

In terms of technical skills, I am well-versed in:

Research strategy and management
* Research prioritization based on business strategy
* Research planning (method selection, resources planning, etc)

Research methods
* User Interviews
* Contextual inquiry
* Surveys
* Card sorting
* Log Analysis (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
* Mapping (Empathy Maps, Personas, User Journeys, Service Blueprints, etc.)
* Concept testing (Desirability, MaxDiff, Conjoint analysis, etc.)
* Design Experiments (Hypothesis Testing, A/B Testing, etc.)
* Usability Testing (Moderated/Unmoderated, In-person/Remote)

Research actionability and communication
* Storytelling for UX research
* Stakeholder engagement
* UX Research evangelism
* Insights management (atomic research, research repositories, etc.)

Design
* User centred business modelling (Value Proposition Design, Business Model Canvas, etc)
* Service Design

Artificial Intelligence
* Generative AI for UX Research

Beyond technical skills, I have a knack for collaboration, facilitation, and management. Whether it's leading a team, facilitating workshops, or training and mentoring colleagues, I love working with others to bring out the best in everyone. Feel free to connect with me to learn more!

  • Does content categorization lead to knowledge building? An experiment in a social bookmarking service

    Computers in Human Behaviour

    Designers of systems with knowledge building purposes (learning platforms, serious games, etc.) are increasingly, sometimes inadvertently, using strategies like collaboration (Wikis), social networking, and Gamification. They aim to engage people and help them evolve their knowledge through several forms of interaction (sharing, commenting, editing, liking, replying, tagging, etc.). Given this scenario, the present work analyzed the impact of a collaborative, tag-based content categorization mechanism in user’s perception of knowledge building in a social bookmarking service. To achieve this we performed a statistical analysis based on usage log data recorded from the tagging interactions and a post-usage online survey with 84 responses. Although the user interaction with content (tagging) would suggest higher levels of learning, the results showed that the perception of knowledge building is not affected by user participation behavior, and lurkers and posters could equally benefit from the service.

  • CURATED NOTIFICATIONS FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING

    Issued PCT/US2019/029301

    A system may filter at least some notifications associated with each of a plurality of unique parts in a cohort of parts for three-dimensional printing based on a cohort-dependent recommendation value. The system calculates a cohort-dependent recommendation value for each notification based on an inverse function of the number of unique parts in the cohort with which each respective notification is associated. The system renders a printable part for display as part of a graphical user interface along with notifications applicable to the displayed printable part. The system filters the notifications by selecting and/or ordering the notifications based on their respective cohort-dependent recommendation values.
